Kate Spade has always been my favorite. I myself or my husband as gifts have bought; wedding shoes several purses wallets bracelets necklaces and watches. Never had a problem until recently I was gifted their Truly yours paver ring as a push present. I got the ring 6/4/20 but mid July several stones have fallen out. The ring wasn't too expensive but surely it should last more than 2 months. After reaching out to customer service they said there was nothing they could do. Disappointed that after all of the money spent on other products they couldn't even replace one little ring. They told me to go to a jewelry store and have the stones replaced( where I'm sure I'd pay more for repairs than the ring cost)
I am elderly and have bought many purses through the years. I cannot recall an of my purses having a defect. However, my $379 Kate Spade handbag, ordered on-line, arrived with a broken zipper. What a disappointment. I was surprised and delighted to learn that the coronavirus did not shut down their. Customer Service Department. It remained open 24/7. I talked to a number of employees, and they were all professional and polite. Within a week, I received a high quality, non-defective handbag. However, it took a couple of weeks to obtain a return label3 calls and 5 emails later. Kate Spade requires that returns are handled through UPS, which was a 40-mile round-trip drive for me. The USPS is only 3 miles away for me. Since all worked out in the end, I hesitated to write a negative review. I really like the second purse. It is well made; and as all Kate Spade products, it is simple, eloquent, and functional. However, I thought others would want to know that Kate Spade needs to improve their quality control department. I cannot figure out how a defect, as obvious as mine, ever made it out of the factory. For my trouble, the company did offer me a 15% off coupon for a future order. Should I use the coupon, It would cover the expense of the 40-mile drive to return it. However, I may not buy another Kate Spade product on online again. I want to be able to examine zippers/stitches/etc. Before I spend a lot of money.

Never bought anything from these jerks. Get spam email every day from them. Unsubscribing doesn't stop it. Contacting their "customer service" doesn't stop it. They keep blowing up my inbox.
This is by far the worse company to give business too. The representatives and managers are beyond unprofessional, pathetic and nasty minded. They don’t care how they speak to customers. They mark items as final sale because they know how poor their experience is and customers will want to return the items. Do not shop with This company. Their products are not the same as advertised. The representatives are thieves and just want to take your money. The managers side with their employees like customers don’t matter. Save your money and give the sale to a company that cares. I had to call 5 times to speak to a manager that did nothing but ruin my day.
Ordered a kate spade iPhone LEATHER case. Within 2 months the trim started to separate from the case. I contacted kate spade customer service, was told unless you purchased your item DIRECTLY from us, not any other retailer no warranty. The leather case isn't leather trim-cheap plastic. I told him you can tell counterfeit products. He didn't care that I offered to send him the case and then let me know if it was counterfeit. The product is crap and not leather. It should not have fallen apart within 2 months and it was purchased from a reputable retailer.
I am normally happy with my purchases from this site, however, I just received a credit card holder that is so small nothing fits in it. When I contacted customer service because I could not find where to review the product I was told I had to email them, then Andre ended the chat. Leads me to believe that all product reviews are not shown on the website.
Garbage company says 3-6 business days they charge for shipping so rude
I purchased this as a gift and paid extra for faster shipping. I ended up with regular shipping and when the recipient opened it, I was shocked! It was not what I ordered. Completely different color. I checked my order and confirmed what I received was not what I ordered. I called customer service immediately and all that was offered was free shipping on a new item as it was final sale. I did not get what I ordered and that was their solution? I asked to speak to a supervisor who was suppose to call the next day at a specific time and never called. Terrible service, will never order or recommend this brand to anyone!
I bought my first ever Kate Spade purse and wallet through the surprise sale. They came within five days of my order and was able to track it throughout. They are both gorgeous. I noticed a little black mark on the handle of purse, which is why I did 4 stars but really happy overall. I was able to wipe the mark off mostly and it’s incredibly small so whatever. I have not had to deal with their customer service and have no opinion on it. I also do not mind the bombarding emails because every company does that now. It is what it is.
Bought an wallet, and after doing it with full price, kate spade sends me, in the same hour, a flash sale with 40 to 75% off. Sent an email to customer service telling them to apply on my purchase so I didn't have to return and buy it again. They never answered my 3 e-mails. The worst CS EVER!
Ordered a $210 dollar gift card from Kate Spade on 1/31 expecting to receive it in 5-7 business days per the information on the Kate Spade site. I needed the gift for a very special 21st birthday on 2/9. Order was not processed until 2/3 in spite of me receiving an email that it had left the building in 2/2. I had not received order on 2/9 so looked at the UPS tracking number and it still had not been picked up at Kate Spade. Kate Spade had only printed a UPS label on 2/3. I talked to 4 customer service people 2/10 including a manager. Initially a "team" would have to review this issue for 3-5 more days. Upon speaking to a manager, he informed me that UPS had 10 days to pick up the order so he could not do anything for me until 2/13. I asked to have the gift cards cancelled and to send me an E- gift card via e-mail. He could not do that... I asked him to just cancel my order and refund my money... he could not do that either... He told me there was a Covid pandemic and tried to blame their pathetic lack of honesty and customer service on the pandemic! No where on the Kate Spade website does it say that it takes 4-5 days to process an order PLUS a 10 day waiting period to get the order to the shipper! I told the manager there must be someone in his organization that still cared about the business that I could talk to, he informed me there was not... SO DO NOT do business ONLINE with Kate Spade EVER!

Very poor customer service. I am starting to think Surprise Kate Spade isn't real because the Kate Spade and Kate Spade Outlets offer student/military discounts. When I chatted with the customer service they weren't helpful at all and said surprise Kate spade doesn't offer discounts. However, the outlet Kate spade near me is all also discounted 75% off and they offer a discount...so they must be totally separate companies. I love the bags and would love to get more but not if it's going to scam me. I would rather just drive an hour to the outlet and pick out something they have In stock to get the discount.
I bought it for my friend's birthday and it was enough time before her birthday (3 weeks) but eventually, it came a month after her birthday. I got no email about how it's delaying or anything and no apology.

Good luck with that! Once they make a sale that's it. Good luck getting in touch with a person. The brick and mortar store maybe easier to deal with, but the website is the worst. Don't do business with these guys online
